TUCSON: Advanced Fletcher Intensive
The Fletcher Pilates® Advanced Fletcher Intensive provides education in Level II Fletcher Techniques for teachers and movement professionals. Participants gain a clear understanding of advanced Fletcher Towelwork®, Fletcher Floorwork™, and Fletcher Barrework™, including the purpose, structure, and application of more complex movement patterns. Emphasis is placed on breath, rhythm, sequencing, coordination, and the refined expressive detail that defines the Fletcher Pilates® lineage.
This Intensive supports the development of technical skill and a thoughtful approach to teaching advanced Fletcher Techniques in both private sessions and group settings. Participants explore sequencing, transitions, and appropriate progressions to support higher-level movement demands, all within a lineage-based framework.
The Advanced Fletcher Intensive is appropriate for those progressing toward the Professional Teacher designation and further study within the Program of Study, as well as for professionals seeking continuing education to deepen their understanding of advanced expressive movement and refine their practice.
The Fletcher Pilates® Advanced Fletcher Intensive includes over 100 hours of focused study. The curriculum builds upon Level I and explores Level II work in Fletcher Towelwork®, Floorwork™, and Barrework™, with an emphasis on the rhythm, continuity, and expressive clarity that distinguish the Fletcher approach.
Participants also receive access to the Fletcher Foundations Course for continued study, which explores four essential pillars—Movement, Anatomy, Teaching, and History. This material provides important context and supports a deeper, more informed understanding of the work within the Fletcher Pilates® lineage.
