Become a Teacher through the
Fletcher Pilates Matwork Intensive.
Matwork Intensive participants will gain a thorough understanding of the complete Pilates Matwork syllabus as well as the purpose and therapeutic benefits of each exercise. Emphasis is placed on the precise movement initiation and articulation, correct alignment, creative transitions, as well as movement modifications and progressions.
This intensive focuses on developing an understanding, as well as creative approach to teaching Pilates Matwork sessions and classes to all skill levels.
This Pilates Matwork Intensive is open and available for all to participate to broaden their education and further their personal practice.
The Fletcher Pilates® Matwork Intensive provides over 100 hours of immersive study. This intensive includes the complete Fletcher Matwork syllabus and emphasizes the signature transitions, flow, and rhythmic movement unique to the Fletcher approach.
Participants gain access to the Fletcher Foundations Course, which explores four essential pillars: Movement, Anatomy, Teaching, and History. This foundational material supports a deeper understanding of Fletcher Pilates® philosophy and prepares students for embodied, thoughtful study.
In addition, students will explore the use of the Magic Circle as a tool to enhance movement precision, awareness, and dynamic alignment — integrating it seamlessly into their teaching.
