Wise Hands

Hands-on Techniques for Pilates Teachers Course

There is an art to applying hands-on as a Pilates teacher. It requires a deep understanding of the human body, of the intention of each Pilates movement and of how to apply precise hands-on techniques. It also requires timing, sensitivity, confidence and the ability to establish a safe teaching environment. Before incorporating hands-on cues, there is much to consider in terms of scope of practice, contraindications, appropriate touch and understanding different types of hands-on skills and techniques. Wise Hands is an online workshop designed to establish a basic framework to learn specific and effective hands-on skills to incorporate in a Pilates session or class.
